Your primary duties will involve performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment for all employees and customers. Duties include cleaning restaurant floors, restrooms, common areas, general surrounding, cleaning and sanitation of the refuse dump areas , as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Operational Responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust and wipe down surfaces; clean windows and mirrors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clean and sanitise restrooms; restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from all areas of the facility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting any repairs needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure cleaning supplies are used and stored properly, adhering to safety guidelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notify the supervisor when cleaning supplies need to be reordered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that all cleaning tools and equipment are in good working condition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with setup and cleanup for special events or projects as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work cooperatively with other janitorial staff and maintenance officer to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues and receive instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum of senior secondary school certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A minimum of 1 year relevant experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role is a plus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, good time management, and basic maintenance skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":86,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","job_listing_type":[],"job_listing_category":[],"job_listing_location":[],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":["post-6604","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.9 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises.
